Job summary

Woodinville Veterinary Hospital, part of Cara Veterinary, seeks a licensed veterinary technician to join a busy medical team. You will provide patient care, assist with anesthesia, clinical nursing, radiology, and lab work, while supporting veterinarians and clients.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
  • A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
  • Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
  • One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
  • Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced or stressful situations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
  • Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and growth.
  • Partner with clients by educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and answering questions.
  • Contribute to a positive culture with training, feedback, and high standards in the hospital.
