Qualifications

  • Must have Licensed Veterinary Technician credential.
  • Proficiency in anesthetic monitoring.
  • Ability to read and understand anesthetic monitoring equipment.

  • Dental prophylaxis experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients.
  • Perform and monitor anesthesia.
  • Read and interpret anesthetic monitoring equipment.
  • Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters.
  • Assist with surgery and advanced procedures.
  • Perform dental procedures and dental radiographs.
  • Assist with diagnostics and treatments.
  • Monitor patient recovery and provide appropriate post-operative care.
  • Educate clients on patient care and treatment recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate medical records.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and Fear Free environment.
  • Collaborate with doctors, LVTs, and Veterinary Assistants to provide excellent patient care.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in patient care and work closely with our doctors and veterinary team.

Responsibilities include:

  • A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
  • One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
