Animal Care Center of Pahrump in Pahrump, NV is hiring licensed veterinary technicians to join a growing general practice open seven days a week. Full-time or part-time shifts, salary $28-$33 per hour, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Nevada or eligible to transfer within 3 months of hire.
• 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience.
• Degree from AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint.
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare.
• Exam room duties: histories, vitals, brief exams, client education, and financial conversations.
• Dental experience including charting, scaling, polishing, and dental radiology.
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Obtain histories, vitals, and perform brief exams with client education.
• Assist in dental procedures, radiology, and in-house labs.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgeries with aseptic technique.
• Handle and restrain animals, manage routine procedures and urgent care.

We are adding additional doctor days and need an LVT ready to work at the highest level of their training and license. **Full-time or Part-time shifts available.*** **Salary:** $28.00 - $33.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.* **Schedule:** Full-time, Four to Five 8-hour or Four 10-hour shifts per week. Primarily weekdays with rotating weekend support.
