Job summary
Village Veterinary Hospital in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our experienced, compassionate team. You will provide a full range of patient care, monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, and help educate clients while supporting a collaborative hospital environment.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced situations.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teamwork.
- One year of experience in veterinary industry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your full skillset as a vital part of the medical team, including treatments, anesthesia monitoring, and lab work.
- Be a leader and mentor to guide and support the medical team and improve workflow.
- Partner with clients by educating them on treatments and reviewing medical records.
- Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training and constructive feedback.

Note: The Licensed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state’s Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.
