Hackettstown Animal Hospital, part of AmeriVet, seeks a licensed or experienced veterinary technician to join our team in Hackettstown, NJ. You will assist veterinarians in exams, surgery, anesthesia, and patient recovery, while maintaining high standards of animal handling and client education.

Ideal candidates have CVT/RVT/LVT credentials or eligibility, strong dental and anesthesia skills, and excellent teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
• CVT/RVT/LVT certification preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• AVMA-accredited veterinary technology degree preferred but not required.

Be comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint.
