Petco is searching for a Veterinary Technician in Buckeye, Arizona, to provide exceptional veterinary care to patients and outstanding customer service to their owners. The role demands expertise in assisting with both routine and emergency veterinary procedures, maintaining patient records, and supporting the overall hospital operations.

The Veterinarian Technician provides excellent veterinary care to Vetco Total Care patients and phenomenal customer care to their owners. The Veterinary Technician represents the mission and values to all clients and partners, sets the tone for the technical and customer support team, and fosters cohesion and motivation within the hospital.
In all activities related to patient care, the Veterinary Technician takes direct supervision from veterinarians and the Hospital Office Manager or Hospital Leader on Duty. Overall, direction comes from the Hospital Office Manager.
The Veterinary Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that day‑to‑day operations of the hospital are efficient and provide an optimal experience for patients and clients.
By contributing to the growth of a productive practice and maintaining a high‑quality standard of care, this position supports employee retention, patient well‑being, and customer satisfaction.
This position has no immediate supervisory duties.
The majority of duties are conducted in the Vetco Total Care full‑service hospital. The position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 30 pounds) and standing for long periods, with significant direct contact with clients and their pets.
Regular communication occurs with clients, veterinary specialists, and companies that provide products and services utilized by the practice.
