Primary Pet Care is hiring a licensed veterinary technician to join a small, busy practice. The role offers a stable schedule with no weekend shifts and opportunities to work with digital radiography, in-house lab work, and a variety of patient cases.

Qualifications

• Current veterinary technician licensure is required.
• At least two years of veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture and patient-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients.
• Assist with wellness, sick, and urgent care appointments.
• Perform technician appointments and communicate clearly with clients.
• Obtain patient histories and communicate relevant information to the veterinarian.
• Safely handle and restrain patients using low-stress techniques.
• Perform venipuncture, IV placement, sample collection, and lab procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Perform and assist with digital and dental radiographs.
• Support surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery.
• Maintain accurate medical records and educate clients on care needs.
• Keep treatment areas clean and ready for daily operations.
