Job summary

Stillwater Veterinary Clinic in Absarokee, MT, is hiring a mixed animal Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to work with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff across two locations. The role spans bovine, small animal, and equine patients with a focus on high-quality patient care and client experience.

Wages begin at $20/hour for licensed technicians; non-licensed grads scheduled for VTNE sit will start at $18/hour.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and progressive performance.
• Preferred education includes an associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary science or veterinary technical science.
• Licensed veterinary technicians accepted with VTNE eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with DVM-ordered treatments: anesthesia induction/maintenance and monitoring.
• Provide sterile and non-sterile surgical assistance as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client education at all steps.
• Perform emergency triage and vaccine administration.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, assistants, and fellow LVTs to ensure patient care.
