Qualifications

• Valid CVT, RVT, or LVT certification is required.
• 1+ year of veterinary hospital experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals.
• Prepare and analyze laboratory samples; record findings accurately.
• Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Educate clients on wellness plans, nutrition, medications, and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure equipment functionality.
• Handle reception duties such as triage, scheduling, and patient intake/discharge.
