Job summary

Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital in Ashburn, VA is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician. The role focuses on delivering highquality patient care, administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work within a supportive, collaborative team.

You will mentor colleagues, educate pet owners, and contribute to preventive care and client education in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Partner with clients by educating them on treatments and reviewing medical records.
• Maintain high standards and contribute to a positive hospital culture.
