Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant required.
- Previous hands-on veterinary experience.
- Strong patient handling and restraint skills.
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and remain active for extended periods.
- Familiarity with Fear Free handling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Obtain patient histories and vital signs.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
- Perform laboratory testing on blood, urine, and other samples.
- Obtain radiographs with proper positioning.
- Support dental procedures including radiography and cleanings.
