The role involves supporting veterinarians with exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery, while maintaining meticulous medical records and clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification.
• Experience in animal care and client communication.
• Knowledge of veterinary procedures and safety guidelines (DEA/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate care instructions and status updates to clients.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medications.
