Job summary

Visiting Wellness is seeking a Pediatric Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC/LCSW) to provide mental health services to children and adolescents in their homes across Florida. Enjoy flexible scheduling, clinical support, and meaningful work in a collaborative team.

Minimum qualifications include a master's degree, active Florida LMHC or LCSW license, and at least 2 years of direct therapy experience with children.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida State LMHC, LCSW license in good standing — required.
• Experience providing therapy services to children and adolescents — required.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, including psychosocial history, symptoms, and strengths
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and evidence-based practices
• Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including social workers and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities
• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice
