Job summary

Boys Town in Omaha, NE seeks a Licensed Therapist ( LIMHP or LP ) to provide psychotherapy and conduct psychological assessments for adults referred to the Behavioral Health Clinic. You will support the clinic's training program and help establish a referral base with Boys Town and collaborating providers.

You will meet monthly productivity expectations, coordinate care with the referral network, and participate in ongoing education and clinical training.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, school, and/or counseling psychology is required.
  • Completed an APA approved internship or equivalent is required.
  • Experience providing psychological services to adults is required.
  • Licensed (or licensable) Psychologist, Counselor, or Mental Health Practitioner in the practicing state is required.

## Licensed Therapist (LIMHP or LP) - Adult Behavioral HealthApplylocations: Omaha, NEtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: REQ-2026-8998Provides evidence-based treatment for adults referred to the Behavioral Health Clinic.## **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:**## ## **Provides psychotherapy and conducts psychological assessments to adults, assists in establishing and maintaining a referral base, and supports the Clinic’s clinical training program.*** ## Provides psychotherapy services to clients each week.* ## Conducts clinical assessments.* ## Meets monthly clinical productivity expectations.* ## Assists in establishing and maintaining a referral base from Boys Town, medical providers, other treatment providers, and the general community.* ## Provides clinical consultation with referral base for the purpose of coordinating care for clients.* ## Obtains ongoing education related to the fields of clinical psychology and clinical assessment and intervention.* ## Participates in clinical training activities and provides training in various psychological topics for Clinic staff.## ## **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:*** ## Knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of adult psychology with an emphasis on integrative approaches for addressing affective, physiological, cognitive, behavioral, and spiritual needs of clients.* ## Ability to apply psychological principles to therapeutic interventions with individuals, couples, and groups.* ## Skill in conducting clinical assessments, determining diagnoses, providing therapy, and treatment planning for adults.* ## Proficiency in assessing and treating a wide range of clinical concerns and diagnoses, such as mood disorders, anxiety and fears, trauma- and stressor-related conditions, and ADHD.* ## Knowledge of the principles and methods of administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide variety of standardized psychological tests and measures.* ## Skill in conducting evaluations and administering standardized tests and measures.* ## Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of people.## ## **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:*** ## Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, school, and/or counseling psychology required.* ## Completed an APA approved internship or equivalent required.* ## Experience providing psychological services to adults required.* ## Licensed (or licensable) Psychologist, Counselor, or Mental Health Practitioner in the state in which practicing required.* ## Other Duties: This job description incorporates the essential functions and duties required for this position.
