Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LCSW or LPCC) to provide psychosocial assessments and a range of therapy services both via telehealth and in-person. The role includes developing treatment plans with patient/family involvement and reassessing as needed.

Candidates should have a Master’s in social work or counselling and relevant licensure, with knowledge of CBT and current counseling theories.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in social work or counselling with LCSW or LPCC licensure.
• Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to counseling.
• Knowledge of cognitive/behavioral therapy concepts.
• Strong understanding of clinical aspects of mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services including psychosocial assessment and individual, family, and group therapies.
• Develop patient treatment plans with patient/family participation and reassess as needed.
• If Outpatient Behavioral Health, may provide initial patient assessments.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and interpret performance data.
• If qualified, provide clinical supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical conduct, and set professional boundaries.

Licensed Therapist - LCSW or LPCC

Provides clinical services including psychosocial assessment, individual, family, and group therapies that meet the established standards of care and standards of practice. Develops patient treatment plans with patient/family participation and reassess treatment plans appropriately. If assigned to Outpatient Behavioral Health and independently privileged, may provide for initial patient assessment. Participates in performance improvement activities and assists in the interpretation of performance improvement data. If qualified, may provide clinical supervision. Expected to participate in consultation, set professional boundaries, maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical conduct.

Therapist will see variety of ages via telehealth and in-person visits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters degree in social work or counselling and licensure as clinical social worker (LCSW or current LPCC license).
• Must have knowledge of current theoretical approaches to the delivery of counseling services.
• Must have knowledge of strategies for examining, applying and evaluating cognitive/behavioral therapy concepts.
• Additional skills required include thorough knowledge of the clinical aspects of the mental health field
