Steadfast Health seeks an Licensed Therapist to provide evidence-based treatments for substance use disorders in Greensboro, NC, both in person and via telehealth.

You will conduct assessments, design individualized plans using CBT/MI/DBT, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. A focus on compassionate, low-barrier access and ongoing professional development is essential.

Qualifications

• Active LCAS and independently licensed as an LCMHC, LMFT, or LCSW in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of therapy experience with substance use disorders.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and commitment to ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with SUD, in-person and via telehealth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders, both in-person and via telehealth, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos.
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, modeling a non-paternalistic and destigmatizing approach to patient care.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery.
• Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists, ensuring integrated treatment approaches.
• Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations.
• Champion the company’s mission by modeling compassion and fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities.
• Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources to support sustained recovery and overall health.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in SUD treatment.

Location & Schedule

Location: 825 W. Florida St., Greensboro, NC 27406

Monday – Friday, 8:30a – 5:00p EST. Schedules reflect current anticipated needs and may evolve as the organization grows; some flexibility may be required over time.
