Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join a team focused on mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders in an outpatient setting. The role emphasizes group and individual psychotherapy, biopsychosocial assessments, and EHR documentation in line with regulatory standards.

The position operates Monday through Friday, with typical hours 9:00am–5:00pm, and includes a comprehensive benefits package starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Human Services with clinical practicum and 1 year of care delivery experience.
• Licensure required: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Act 33 child abuse clearance, Act 34 fingerprint check, Act 114 FBI background check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Mental Health Intensive Outpatient (IOP) group and individual therapy sessions.
• Provide psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and clinical interventions.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments to identify client strengths and needs.
• Document in electronic health record per policies and requirements.
• Collaborate with treatment team, community members, and third-party providers.
• Attend clinical, administrative, and community partner meetings.
