Job summary

Congruent Counseling Services is seeking licensed clinicians for full-time, in-person work in Columbia, MD, focusing on teens and young adults. Daytime, after-school and evening shifts are available to accommodate client needs.

Responsibilities include individual and group therapy, assessments, treatment planning, ICD-10 diagnoses, payer authorizations, and diligent documentation in the EHR/EMR. Must maintain licensure and stay compliant with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a counselor, social worker, or psychologist.
• Have experience and working knowledge of alcoholism and chemical dependency.
• Have no legal violations.
• Possess a working knowledge of applicable State and Federal laws pertaining to clinical treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions and education to clients in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Conduct assessments to identify mental health needs and develop treatment plans.
• Provide an ICD-10 Diagnosis.
• Maintain appropriate authorizations for services to be in compliance with payer requirements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients
• Stay current with best practices in therapy and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to practice guidelines regarding proper session coding and client information in the EHR/EMR.
• Use supporting software and communications required by the organization.
• Follow practice, professional, and ethical guidelines regarding documentation.
• Maintain licensure in good standing.
