Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking a Licensed Therapist to work with patients and families, conducting social assessments, individual, family, and group counseling, and discharge planning.

The role focuses on patient education, collaboration with care teams, and adherence to the organization's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. Experience in health care or psychiatric settings is preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualificações

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
• Licensed in Texas (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPA, LPCI) or equivalent.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; strong communication skills with patients and families.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Therapist (Licensed) will be responsible for working with patients and their families. This will include social assessments, individual / family / marital / counseling, group therapy, patient/family education, discharge planning and other modalities as applicable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience in health care or psychiatric setting preferred.

2. Bilingual preferred (Spanish).

3. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

EDUCATION / LICENSURE:

1. Master's Degree in Social Work or Master’s Degree in Counseling, Education, or Related field.

2. Must be licensed through the State of Texas (LMSW; LCSW; LPC; LPA;LPCI).
