Job summary

Open Mind Health is seeking fully licensed California therapists for virtual couples, relationship, and family therapy. This 100% remote telehealth role requires active CA licensure and offers $70–$80 per hour with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Independent contractor status, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to serve California clients are provided. Ideal candidates have relational and systemic practice experience, can work with diverse populations, and are comfortable using telehealth

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to couples, partners, and/or families.
• Assess relational and family-system needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Support clients with communication, conflict, relationship transitions, parenting, and other relational concerns.
• Apply evidence-guided relational or systemic approaches appropriate to your training and scope of practice.
• Deliver culturally responsive, client-centered care.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the broader care team as appropriate.
• Practice within applicable professional, licensing, and regulatory requirements.

Licensed Therapist – Couples & Family Therapy – Remote California

100% Remote- Must Hold an Active California License | $70–$80/Hour | 1099 Independent Contractor | Flexible Schedule | 20+ Hours/Week

Open Mind Health (OMH) is expanding and actively recruiting fully licensed California therapists with experience and interest in providing virtual couples, relationship, and family therapy.

This opportunity is well suited for clinicians experienced in relational and systemic work, including couples experiencing communication challenges, relationship transitions, conflict, intimacy concerns, parenting and family stressors, and other interpersonal concerns.

Eligible applicants may include California-licensed LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and Psychologists whose license and scope of practice permit them to provide these services.

This is a 100% remote telehealth opportunity offering $70–$80/hour, flexible scheduling, and a minimum commitment of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability.

Please note: Applicants may reside outside California. Active, unrestricted California clinical licensure is required, as this position serves clients located in California. We are not currently accepting associate-level applicants for this role.

What You'll Do

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to couples, partners, and/or families

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist [PsyD/PhD])

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing couples, relationship, and/or family therapy
• Training or experience in relational, systemic, or family-based approaches
• Experience addressing communication, conflict, relationship transitions, parenting, or family-system concerns
• Telehealth experience
• Licensure in multiple states
• Additional language proficiency; Spanish is highly desirable
• Experience working with diverse or underserved couples and families

Compensation & Engagement Type

• $70–$80/hour
• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Compensation within the posted range is based on relevant clinical expertise, years of experience, and licensure.
