Job summary

Life Changes Group, part of the Optum family, seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our Boston, MA team. You will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions and support our diverse patient population as part of Optum Behavioral Care.

Responsibilities include screening and assessing patients, delivering evidence-based treatments (CBT, DBT and others), tracking outcomes, maintaining EMR records, and contributing to online visibility and growth efforts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related counseling field.
• Active, unrestricted license (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) in Massachusetts.

Life Changes Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our team in Boston, MA. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. You will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions to meet the needs of our diverse patient population. Our organization provides support across clinical operations (credentialing) and business operations (contracting) so providers can focus on care.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
• Provide treatment for mental health conditions using approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
• Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in our patient growth strategy by providing a profile for online directories and other marketing efforts

Compensation: $69,100 - $103,800 annual total cash based on productivity; $25.00 hourly rate. Annual total cash compensation assumes full-time employment and may vary based on factors including local labor markets, productivity, and performance.
