Job summary

Hickory Treatment Centers in Albion, IN is seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy. Under Clinical Director supervision, you will manage a caseload of clients with behavioral health and addiction issues, perform biopsychosocial assessments, participate in multi-disciplinary treatment, and assist with discharge planning.

The role emphasizes strong ethics, confidentiality, EMR proficiency, and the ability to engage clients with compassion.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and Indiana licensure (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/PSY.D/LPCC).
• At least 2 years in behavioral healthcare, residential preferred.
• Commitment to client, family, and referent satisfaction.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Professional appearance, aptitude and attitude.
• Impeccable ethics, integrity and customer relations skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and EMR experience.
• Knowledge of best practices in behavioral medicine delivery.
• MAT services knowledge or certification preferred.
• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making.
• Understand clientele requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contact assigned clients within 24 hours of admission; conduct weekly 1:1 encounters.
• Complete Biopsychosocial, Admission Note, ASAM Criteria, SUD Plan and diagnoses within 24 hours.
• Complete weekly 1:1 notes, plan updates and ASAM updates for each client.
• Lead therapeutic groups; complete Group Session notes in the EMR.
• Complete discharge processes: Columbia Suicide Scale, transfer criteria, and aftercare plan.
• Assess and document suicide risk appropriately.
• Review and sign progress notes weekly; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Attend weekly team meetings; perform additional duties as assigned.
