Job summary

Synapse Integrative Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our outpatient team in New Jersey. The role requires a NJ-licensed LCSW, LSW, or LPC to provide individual, family, and group therapy with a focus on evidence-based care.

You will collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other therapists to support patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, and related conditions in an integrated care setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• New Jersey license as LCSW, LSW, or LPC.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy as needed.
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered interventions.
• Evaluate progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and team members.
• Coordinate care with outside providers and families when appropriate.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed.
• Maintain professional boundaries and patient confidentiality.
• Follow organizational policies and state/federal regulations.
• Participate in clinical meetings and ongoing professional development.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivatedLicensed Therapist to join our growing clinical team. This opportunity is open to candidates licensed as anLCSW, LSW, or LPC in New Jersey.

Position Overview

The Licensed Therapist will provide outpatient psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals with a variety of behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate will be committed to building strong therapeutic relationships, delivering evidence-based care, and collaborating with psychiatric providers and other members of the treatment team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy based on patient needs and professional experience.
• Deliver evidence-based and patient-centered therapeutic interventions.
• Evaluate patient progress and update treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Coordinate care with outside providers, families, and community resources when appropriate and authorized.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when clinically necessary.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and protect patient confidentiality.
• Follow all organizational policies, professional standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current New Jersey license as one of the following:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Ability to provide compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative treatment team.
• Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services is preferred.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, or other mental health conditions is preferred.
