Job summary

A behavioral health organization in Angleton, TX is looking for a Licensed Therapist to provide clinical services in a compassionate environment. The position requires a master's degree, relevant licensure, and at least two years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling. Licensed Therapist or Associate Therapist ( LCDC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW)

Positions available :

  • Full time

Essential Functions:


  • Licensed registration from Texas HHS (vis. LCDC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW). At least 2-years of experience in evaluating and or treating persons suffering from Drug and Alcohol abuse. Must demonstrate knowledge of treatment needs and modalities depending on diagnostic issues. Current and in good standing with the Texas Board.
  • Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
  • Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
  • Works as a team member with other professionals
  • Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
  • Conducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
  • Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
  • Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
  • Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
  • Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
  • Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
  • Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
  • Perform job duties under stressful conditions
  • May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities

Education and minimum qualification:
