Job summary

Delta-T Group Maryland, Inc. seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor in the Baltimore area. This role supports full-time or part-time schedules with immediate start and competitive compensation.

The counselor will conduct behavioral health groups and individual sessions, complete biopsychosocial assessments with timely documentation in the EHR, and ensure discharge planning within seven days. Maryland CAC-AD/CSC-AD license required, with counseling experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Maryland license as CAC-AD or CSC-AD with the State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.
• Previous experience in counseling, social work, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate behavioral health treatment groups.
• Provide individual sessions for clients as needed.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and all documentation pertaining to it.
• Document client attendance, group topic, and client participation in file after each group; complete within 24 hours of services provided.
• Document any other contact with client or case management (e.g., individual sessions or outside referrals).
• Complete discharge paperwork within seven days of discharge.
• Address urinalysis or breathalyzer results and record in EHR and monthly reports.
• Review and update treatment plans per ADI policy timeframes.
• Provide person-centered treatment tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide culturally competent treatment and case management.
