Job summary

Tradesmen International is currently hiring a Licensed Sheet Metal Technician for projects around Stamford, CT. This first shift role offers pay of $48-$49/hour, based on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities include installing pre-fabricated ductwork, reading blueprints, and ensuring work meets mechanical codes and safety standards. Must hold CT SM1/SM2 license and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Connecticut SM1 or SM2 License.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Must have experience installing commercial ductwork systems.
• Must have standard sheet metal hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to lift heavy components, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings, architectural plans, and specifications
• Install rectangular, round, and spiral metal duct systems
• Measure, cut, and secure ductwork, hangers, and supports

• Ensure all work meets local mechanical codes and commercial safety standards

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Licensed Sheet Metal Technicians for projects located in or around Stamford, CT. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $48-$49/hour based on experience and skill level. • Install pre-fabricated ductwork in an existing commercial building
