Job summary

Bradham Comfort Services Inc. seeks a Residential Electrician to diagnose and repair electrical systems in homes, install generators and EV chargers, and ensure code-compliant, safe work. You will advise homeowners on options and coordinate with the team for timely job completion.

Requirements include 2+ years in residential electrical service and NC/SC licensing, plus strong customer service and communication abilities. A driver’s license is needed and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in residential electrical service.
• Licensed in North Carolina and/or South Carolina.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose service calls involving wiring and panels.
• Explain repair options to homeowners clearly and professionally.
• Install generators, panel upgrades, new circuits, lighting, EV chargers.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and safety rules.
• Record job details and estimates in company software.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace; protect customer property.
• Coordinate with dispatch and management to schedule jobs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you'll do:

• Diagnose service calls involving wiring, electrical panels, outlets, lighting, and breakers.
• Discuss repair and upgrade options with homeowners and recommend safe, code-compliant solutions by communicating clearly and professionally.
• Complete installations including generators, panel upgrades, new circuits, lighting, EV chargers, and whole-home surge protection.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
• Document work accurately by recording job details, estimates, and customer notes in company software.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace while respecting and protecting customer property.
• Work closely with dispatch and management to support efficient scheduling and successful job completion.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in residential electrical service.
• Licensed in North Carolinaand/or South Carolina
• Solid understanding of residential systems, including wiring, electrical panels, troubleshooting, and code compliance.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying outdoor conditions.
• Commitment to ongoing training and professional development in electrical systems and best practices.
