Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Licensed School Counselor (LCSW or LMHC) in Queens, NY to support students in school-based counseling and mental health settings for the current school year. You will provide individual and group counseling and help students achieve IEP-aligned goals.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in School Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field and active New York State LCSW or LMHC licensure; NY School Counselor certification is preferred;

• Prior school-based counseling or mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support IEP goals, intervention plans, and student progress.
• Assist with building social, emotional, and behavioral skills for classroom success.
