Job summary

Centra Healthcare's network in San Jose, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time direct-hire position in a skilled nursing facility. The PTA will provide therapy services under the supervision of a PT and contribute to patient recovery goals.

Responsibilities include implementing and adjusting treatment plans, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring care aligns with physician orders.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
