Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ardmore, PA is seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their care team. The PTA will provide direct therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and help residents regain mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress in EMRs, educating residents and families, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in a subacute rehabilitation setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication abilities and a collaborative team spirit.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out treatment plans and gathering objective data for Section GG collection during Annual, Quarterly, Falls, and Significant Change screenings.
• Treatment Support: Implement treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist, including exercises, modalities, and mobility training.
• Monitoring: Observe residents' performance and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident progress and interventions; include EMR entries.
• Education: Educate residents, family members, and care staff on safe mobility techniques and exercises.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
