Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey to join our health care team. The successful candidate will assist in delivering high-quality physical therapy services in a patient-centered facility.

Responsibilities include following safety standards, policies, infection control, and maintaining a safe, clean therapy area while ensuring resident safety and comfort during sessions.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT in following safety standards established for the physical therapy department.
• Follow established departmental policies and procedures, including dress code.
• Be alert for resident safety during all therapy.
• Comply with the Facility’s safety precautions.
• Assist in using safety equipment and supplies when lifting or moving residents.
• Assist in ensuring therapy practices comply with current regulations.
• Follow infection control procedures and standard precautions.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of residents going to/from therapy area.
• Maintain therapy area clean and stocked with necessary equipment.
• Follow reporting procedures for hazardous conditions or equipment.
• Wear PPE when exposure to blood or body fluids is possible.
• Report missing or illegible labels or SDSs to supervisor.
