Job summary

Urban Health Plan in the Bronx is seeking a Clinical Psychologist Supervisor (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to lead supervision of a team of mental health therapists while maintaining a small patient caseload.

The role reports to the VIDA Guidance Center Director and supports integrated behavioral health care across our health centers. Applicants must hold a NYS license, have a doctoral degree, and show at least 2 years of direct clinical supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program.
• Valid New York State license.
• Experience supervising/leading in a mental health setting (outpatient or hospital).
• At least 2 years of direct clinical supervision experience.
• Ability to interact with diverse populations.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of OMH requirements and Article-31 setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outpatient behavioral health providers and provide clinical training.
• Review treatment plans and monitor therapeutic processes.
• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy as needed.
• Provide consultation to medical providers and social workers.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and complete documentation.
