Job summary

Mid Cities Psychiatry in Texas seeks a licensed psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment in an outpatient behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills and experience evaluating adolescents and adults, with special encouragement for neuropsychological evaluation experience.

This role may include neuropsychological, cognitive, and psychological evaluations based on education, training, and scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counseling, Neuropsychology, or related field.
• Active, unrestricted Texas psychologist license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient settings.
• Experience with psychological or neuropsychological assessment and related services.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological, cognitive, and neuropsychological assessments.
• Administer, score, interpret, and integrate standardized measures.
• Evaluate multiple cognitive and behavioral domains as appropriate.
• Integrate findings with medical, psychiatric, developmental, and psychosocial history.
• Develop clear, comprehensive assessment reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Communicate results to patients, families, and treating teams.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals for treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation while protecting confidentiality.
