Job summary

University of Kentucky seeks an ESH Staff Psychologist to provide individual and group psychotherapy, comprehensive psychological evaluations, and crisis intervention for inpatients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in graduate supervision and hospital education initiatives.

A doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology and a Kentucky license (or temporary licensure by time of hire) are required.

Qualifications

• PhD/PsyD/EdD required for this psychologist role.
• Licensed Psychologist in Kentucky or eligible for temporary licensure by time of hire.
• At least 1 year of professional forensic assessment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and safeguarding PHI.
• Experience with inpatient settings and multidisciplinary teams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to patients with mental illness.
• Conduct psychological evaluations and crisis interventions.
• Offer education and consultation to staff and patients.
• Supervise graduate students and participate in hospital education and committees.
• Engage in research and development of evidence-based practice models.
