Job summary

Huckeye Health Services LLC in California is seeking a licensed psychologist to work with incarcerated individuals. You will conduct psychological screenings and assessments, review records, and perform clinical interviews on inmates as part of a dedicated mental health team.

You will develop, implement, and adjust individual treatment plans, coordinate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to ensure integrated care, and support patient care through comprehensive evaluation

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Current, unrestricted psychology license in California.
• Two years of clinical experience, including one year in a comparable role.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Job Duties

• Conducts psychological screenings and assessments based on review of available records, and clinical interviews with inmates.
• As part of a mental health team, confers with other clinical staff, e.g., psychiatrists, mental health service providers, physicians, nurses, social workers, in order to gather and provide information concerning patient psychological problems, to ensure treatment activities are well integrated, and patient care follow-through occurs.
• Provides treatment to inmates by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in California.
• Must have two years clinical experience, which includes one year in a comparable position.
• Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
