Job summary

North Andover Behavioral Health seeks a Massachusetts Licensed Psychologist to join the Psychological Assessment & Diagnostics Department in a hybrid clinical and program-development role. Qualifications

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related psychology discipline
  • Strong diagnostic formulation and report-writing skills
  • Interest in clinical leadership and program development

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic evaluations
  • Evaluate ADHD, autism, mood and anxiety disorders, cognitive and learning concerns
  • Select and interpret appropriate psychological measures
  • Integrate clinical interviews, testing, collateral information, and records
  • Complete comprehensive psychological reports and diagnostic formulations
  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers, therapists, schools, and other professionals when clinically appropriate
  • Help develop and refine assessment protocols and clinical pathways
  • Establish evidence-based assessment batteries and clinical standards
  • Contribute to intake, testing, scoring, report-writing, and feedback workflows
  • Develop clinical documentation standards, templates, and departmental resources
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement
  • Support training, supervision of assessment clinicians and trainees
  • Help develop new specialty assessment services as the department grows
  • Collaborate with NABH leadership on long-term development of the department

About North Andover Behavioral Health

North Andover Behavioral Health (NABH) is a growing outpatient behavioral health practice providing psychological assessment, medication management, and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults.

As NABH continues to expand its psychological assessment services, we are seeking a Massachusetts Licensed Psychologist who is interested in combining clinical assessment work with a meaningful leadership role in the continued development of our Psychological Assessment & Diagnostics Department.

This position is designed for a psychologist who enjoys psychological assessment but also wants the opportunity to help shape how an assessment program operates, grows, trains clinicians, and delivers high-quality care.

North Andover Behavioral Health (NABH) is a growing outpatient behavioral health practice providing psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and psychiatric medication management to children, adolescents, and adults.

We are seeking a Massachusetts Licensed Psychologist to join our Psychological Assessment & Diagnostics Department in a unique hybrid clinical and program-development role.

This position is ideal for a psychologist who enjoys comprehensive psychological assessment and is also interested in helping develop and shape an expanding assessment program. In addition to maintaining an assessment caseload, the psychologist will collaborate with NABH leadership on clinical programming, assessment standards, workflows, clinician training, quality improvement, and future service development.

What You'll Do
Psychological Assessment
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic evaluations
  • Evaluate concerns including ADHD, autism, mood and anxiety disorders, cognitive and learning concerns, and complex diagnostic presentations
  • Select and interpret appropriate psychological measures
  • Integrate clinical interviews, testing, collateral information, and records
  • Complete comprehensive psychological reports and diagnostic formulations
  • Conduct patient and family feedback sessions
  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers, therapists, schools, and other professionals when clinically appropriate
Program Development & Leadership
  • Help develop and refine assessment protocols and clinical pathways
  • Establish evidence-based assessment batteries and clinical standards
  • Contribute to intake, testing, scoring, report-writing, and feedback workflows
  • Develop clinical documentation standards, templates, and departmental resources

  • Support training, competency development, and supervision of assessment clinicians and trainees

What We're Looking For
Required
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related psychology discipline
  • Current Massachusetts Psychologist license in good standing
  • Training and experience in psychological assessment
  • Strong diagnostic formulation and report-writing skills
  • Interest in clinical leadership and program development
Preferred
  • Experience evaluating children, adolescents, and adults
  • Experience with ADHD, autism, mood/anxiety, cognitive, and/or learning evaluations
  • Experience supervising psychology trainees or assessment clinicians
  • Experience developing clinical programs, protocols, or workflows
