Job summary

The Thrasher Group in Canton, OH is seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor (PLS) to lead the surveying and geomatics department, manage projects for public and private clients, and grow the practice from our Canton office.

You will oversee field crews and staff, mentor team members, ensure project deadlines, and identify new business opportunities while upholding our commitment to quality and community.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active Professional Surveyor (PS) license in the State of Ohio required.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a team, mentor staff, and manage multiple crews.
• Project management: Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and manage projects across varying scopes.
• Time management: Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Work style: High productivity working both independently and collaboratively.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor to join our Canton, OH team. In this role, you will lead the surveying and geomatics department, manage projects for public and private sector clients, and play a key role in growing the practice.
