You will manage scheduled appointments, complete evaluations, maintain case notes, and tailor ongoing counseling to each client's needs while adhering to Virginia LPC licensing, ethics, and telehealth standards.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience counseling adults, families, or individuals.
• Proficient with telehealth platforms and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling through secure video sessions.
• Complete intake evaluations and gather clinical history.
• Identify concerns to address during therapy.
• Establish treatment goals and monitor progress.
• Deliver counseling for emotional/behavioral concerns.
• Maintain progress notes and required clinical records.
• Review changes in symptoms and adjust care as needed.
• Discuss follow-up needs and next steps with clients.
• Respond appropriately to risk or safety concerns.

Location: Virginia

Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits

Position Summary

We are hiring a Virginia-licensed LPC to provide outpatient counseling through telehealth. You will work with clients facing anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and other issues that may affect daily life. The position involves managing scheduled appointments, completing clinical evaluations, maintaining case documentation, and providing ongoing counseling based on each client’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling through secure video sessions
• Complete intake evaluations and gather relevant clinical history
• Identify concerns that should be addressed during therapy
• Establish clear and appropriate treatment goals
• Provide counseling for a range of emotional and behavioral health concerns
• Maintain accurate progress notes and required clinical records
• Review changes in symptoms or circumstances throughout care
• Discuss follow-up needs and next steps with clients
• Respond appropriately when risk or safety concerns arise

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a remote clinical environment
• Must be able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in virtual care
