Job summary

Jeter Therapy Group is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide clinical mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in accordance with Louisiana licensing laws. The LPC will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver counseling, and collaborate with families and healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current, active LPC license in Louisiana issued by the LA LPC Board.
• Clear criminal background check per Louisiana state requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while participating in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and diagnostic impressions per DSM-5-TR.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans and measurable clinical goals.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with Louisiana LPC Board requirements and Medicaid guidelines.
• Monitor client progress, adjust interventions, and provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ethical practice per Louisiana LPC Board and ACA Code of Ethics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations.
• Provide referrals to outside services when clinically appropriate.
