Qualifikationen

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant subject.
• Licensed or registered as a clinician in RI (LICSW, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMHCA, LPC, LPCA, LMFT, LMFTA, etc.)
• At least one year of experience in a residential or outpatient program for eating disorders preferred.

Aufgaben

• Complete an initial biopsychosocial assessment and develop a treatment plan within the first week of admission.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive charting and professional client documentation throughout the patient’s progress in treatment.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy.
• Facilitate therapeutic and evidence-based groups.
• Establish a relationship with the patient to provide a foundation early on in the treatment process.
• Educate clients on their comprehensive treatment plan and communicate strategies, goals and targets throughout the duration of treatment.
• Generate a post-discharge maintenance plan for all clients.
• Generate detailed documentation throughout the treatment process.
• Coordinate with patient support staff such as the Registered Dietitian to ensure effective execution of the treatment plan.
• Present relevant cases in Clinical Rounds in a clear and comprehensible manner and assist with transitions across treatment platforms when necessary.
• Maintain punctuality and attendance for required staffing in order to maintain program and treatment consistency and reliability.
