Job summary

Evergreen Nursing Services is recruiting a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one home palliative care for patients in the Vancouver area. The role offers flexible 12-hour shifts (days or nights) with a commitment of at least four shifts per month.

Competitive pay for RNs ($46.00 - $54.00/hour) and LPN wages based on experience, plus paid orientation and 24/7 support from Evergreen and VCH’s Palliative Team. Opportunities to move to part-time or full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of acute and/or palliative care experience.
• Full, unrestricted BCCNM license.
• Experience delivering home-based nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home nursing care including respite, symptom management and end-of-life care.
• Support clients at home with flexible 12-hour shifts (days or nights) and choose work locations.
• Complete paid orientation and training with palliative care specialists and Vancouver Coastal Health.
• Receive 24/7 support from Evergreen and VCH Palliative Team.
• Opportunity to transition into part-time or full-time positions with guaranteed pay and extended benefits.

We partner with Vancouver Coastal Health's Home Hospice Program to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to clients in need of respite, symptom management and/or end-of-life care in the comfort of their own homes.

We offer flexible 12-hour shifts (days or nights) that work with your schedule, allowing you to choose where you want to work in the Lower Mainland (Vancouver, North Shore, Richmond). We require a commitment of at least four shifts per month.
