Job summary

Sherwood Urgent Care in Batesville, AR is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. The role involves greeting patients, activating files, and supporting patients and medical staff in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, injections, medications administration, charting, and coordinating referrals. Full-time and PRN shifts available with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited school of practical nursing is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for examination.
• Take vital signs and obtain patient history.
• Assist with treatment, injections, and medications as directed by physician.
• Maintain patient charts and records.
• Schedule tests and coordinate referrals.
• Collect and document lab specimens.
• Triaging patients to ensure productive department flow.
• Maintain medical inventory and equipment.
