Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the NYS Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Qualified candidates hold an approved nursing program diploma, NY LPN license, and strong verbal/written communication.

Prior experience is preferred, and ability to collaborate with the healthcare team, plus pre-placement screening, are required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Skills Required:

1. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
2. Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
3. Previous experience preferred.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to work with other healthcare team members.
6. Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening.
