Responsibilities
- As an LPN, provide hands-on resident care and proper, timely administration of medications and treatments.
- Provide accurate verbal and written reports and rapid response to any/all emergency situations.
- Perform professional and restorative nursing services, including resident assessments and recording vital signs.
- Maintain timely documentation of written and verbal reports to ensure quality care.
- Interact with residents’ physicians, pharmacists, and medical personnel as needed.
- Follow the Resident Care Plan and assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility).
- Assist with in-service and on-the-job training and mentoring of team members.
- Participate in required in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- High school diploma or GED; four-year college or university degree desired.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
- Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to use Electronic Records and office software and equipment.
- Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
- Must pass pre-employment screening including fitness for duty, background check, drug test, and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.

Qualifications, Skills, and Certifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Knowledge of electronic health records and relevant software
