Job summary

Patriots Colony in Williamsburg, Virginia is hiring Part-Time LPNs to support our care team. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered and pay ranges hourly according to experience and credentials.

Under supervision of RN/Nursing leadership, LPNs administer meds, assist with care plans, and help ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Nursing experience preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required upon hire (Virginia).
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments per provider orders.
• Assists in development and modification of care plans and ensures resident safety and comfort.
• Oversees and delegates tasks to CNAs to maintain quality resident care and documentation.

Williamsburg, Virginia Hiring Range $28.90 - $39.78/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

• Patriots Colony is hiring Part-Time LPNs and offering a sign on bonus of $4,000!

Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor, and ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the development, maintenance, or modification of nursing plan of care. Provides for the emotional, physical comfort and safety of the residents and their families. Assists in supervision of auxiliary personnel.

What you will do

Medications and treatments are administered accurately and according to provider's orders. Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity. Assigns duties to non-professional staff such as CNAs according to education, training, policy and resident need in order to assure quality resident care is delivered. Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed. Contributes to the development, maintenance, or modifications to the individual service plans. Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation according to nursing practice standards. Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes. Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.

Qualifications

• Experience Nursing experience (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
