Job summary

Vi Living in Naples, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time, 12-hour shifts including every other weekend. You will deliver resident care, identify needs, implement prescribed interventions, and collaborate with the care team to evaluate outcomes.

Ideal candidates have an LPN degree, current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and prior geriatric experience. Basic computer skills are required; training and development are provided, along with generous benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
• Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
• Minimum 6 months of experience as LPN preferred.
• Prior experience with geriatric clients preferred.
• Food handler certification where required.
• Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPNPart Time 12 hour shifts to included every other weekendAs a LPN you will be responsible for delivering care and services to residents through the identification of resident needs and implementing prescribed interventions along with evaluating outcomes and conditions. This position performs personal care for residents as needed and communicates and collaborates with other members of the care team to resolve resident care problems, enhance care delivery and participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants are required to have graduated from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
• Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
