Job summary

Halifax Health in Daytona Beach is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support orthopedic patient care. You will provide direct nursing care under a Registered Nurse, perform selected procedures, and administer medications and treatments.

Requirements include Florida LPN license or eligibility, graduation from an approved LPN program, at least one year in Med-surg or acute care, strong communication, and IV certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed or eligible for LPN licensure in Florida.
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing in a course of training for Licensed Practical Nurses.
• Must have one year's experience in Med-surg or other acute care area.
• Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel.
• Additional certification required for IV responsibilities.
