Job summary

UPMC is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for their outpatient Internal Medicine office in Wellsboro, PA. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends or major holidays. The LPN will provide professional nursing care under supervision, which includes drawing blood, administering medications, and assisting physicians. Responsibilities

• Draw blood.
• Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies.
• Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
• Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.
• Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records.
• Promote wellness by providing patient education materials.

• Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
• Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.
