Genesis HealthCare in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN. You will evaluate residents, contribute to assessments and care plans, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates are graduates of accredited LPN programs with an active license or pending licensure and a current BLS/CPR certification as required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by practice state.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
