Job summary

Salina Regional Health Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant Certified to join our clinic team. The LPN/MA-Certified will work under the supervision of a physician, midlevel provider, or RN to deliver safe, efficient patient care in a busy clinic setting.

Ideal candidates have graduation from an accredited nursing/LPN program or a Medical Assistant Certified program, with Kansas licensure or CCMA/RMA certification, and BLS and IV certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas LPN license or CCMA/RMA as applicable.
• IV certification preferred.
• BLS certification to be completed within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient patient care in the clinic setting under supervision of the physician, midlevel provider, or RN.
• Contribute as a positive member of the healthcare team.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE/MEDICAL ASSISTANT CERTIFIED

Under the supervision of the clinic physician, midlevel provider or registered nurse (RN), the licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients in the clinic setting. Performs as a positive member of the healthcare team.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program OR Medical Assistant Certified program

Hospital or outpatient clinic experience within the past 5 years preferred

Required Registration/License/Certification

Current Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse license or CCMA or RMA

IV Certification preferred

Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
